LG has launched its LG Optimus G Pro smartphone in India. The phone is priced at Rs 42,500.
The Optimus G Pro smartphone sports a 5.5-inch full HD display and packs a quad-core Qualcomm mobile processor.
Recent news had ensured that LG will be showcasing its Optimus G successor, Optimus G Pro at its Tech show event in New Delhi. But the Korean company had more to offer its fans that just a glimpse of the quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor powered device.
The company's India managing director Soon H Kwon, revealed that the device will be arriving in India as early as June or July at approximately Rs 40,000. A rival to the Samsung’s Galaxy Note series, Optimus G Pro sports a full HD 5.5-inch 1080p display with a 400ppi, Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.7 GHz, 2 GB RAM and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system.
LG is also preparing for the launch of its next flagship smartphone Optimus G2 this year. The quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor powered smartphone is set to arrive in India in the third quarter of this year.

- Backed by a 3140 mAh battery, the device has an impressive 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a front facing 2.1-megapixel camera for video chats and calls.
- Other goodies on board include 32GB internal memory with 32GB support via a Micro SD card, GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi and NFC.
